Nanaimo celebrates Canada’s 150th birthday, a 10-day festival from June 21 to July 1, 2017, with family and friends of all ages.A community celebration and a legacy project. This will be a large celebration for Canada in Maffeo Sutton Park on Canada Day.Thousands of participants join in to celebrate Canada Day every year. 2017 will provide the opportunity for Nanaimo to build on it’s legend and identify where Nanaimo is becoming more recognized in the future.

Building on the successful community celebrations held annually and organized by the City of Nanaimo and the Canada 150 Committee, Canada’s 150th Birthday Party in Nanaimo is sure to be an event you won’t want to miss!

Saturday, July 1, 2017 is the BIG day.
